Legal Services Manager
Salary: TBC Location: Stalybridge Hours: Full Time

Our client is now accepting applications for the role of Legal Services Manager. This role is to manage and support a catastrophic injury barrister, through a BSB entity. This role is diverse and fast-paced and requires an organised and innovative individual to effectively manage staff, to maintain and develop office systems and procedures, to provide comprehensive training and to enhance business opportunities.


Leading staff management and premise supervision on a day to day basis;

Ensuring work is undertaken in a proficient and consistent manner, in line with internal policies and procedures;

Implementing and maintaining procedures;

Managing budgeting and finances;

Proofing legal and medico-legal work and providing detailed feedback on the same;

Providing ongoing training (both mandatory and legal) to staff and associates;

Creating and developing marketing strategies;

Undertaking the role of Data Protection Lead.

Systems and Equipment

The post holder will be required to use the following systems and equipment:

• Microsoft Word;

• Microsoft Excel;

• Microsoft PowerPoint for preparation of presentations;

• Microsoft Outlook for sending and receiving e-mails and diary management;

• XERO for finance management (Full training on this will be provided).


Legal Experience is crucial to this role and ideally the candidate will have:

• Undertaken the LPC, BPTC or the CILEx;

• Managed their own caseload or assisted with a sizeable caseload in a personal injury/ clinical negligence firm and/or worked in a management role within a PI firm;

• Experience of creating and implementing marketing strategies;

•Experience of client care (with both lay and professional clients).

Hours & Location

The role is a full time position, worked Monday to Friday from 09:00am – 17:30pm. The role will be based at our Stalybridge premises.
