Sales Consultant
Salary: £18-20k Location: Markyate, Hertfordshire Hours: Full Time

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To sell Electricity and Gas supply contracts to our existing and new customers

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To contact prospective customers and provide details of our no obligation service explaining why they should choose the business to find their next renewal contract for them
• Upon acceptance by the customer - complete the contract for supply and submit to contract management team
• Understand our supplier’s products, tariffs and promotions and be able to effectively communicate these deals to prospects.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales KPI’s on a consistent basis.
• Look for continual improvements to deliver and improve upon your sales targets and KPI’s.
• To correctly implement procedures on every call to reduce any loss to the business and remain compliant on all calls.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: Previous telesales or customer services experience essential
TECHNICAL SKILLS ESSENTIAL: Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

PERSONAL QUALITIES:
• Confident and effective communicator
• Drive to go above expected targets
• Highly responsive to advice and eager to adopt new skills and techniques
• Self-motivated and ambitious
• Good under pressure
• Well organised
• Previous telesales AND OR Customer Services experience required
• Car driver – essential

Salary 18-20 basic (Maximum 22K for exceptional candidates). Basic salary will go up to 22K within a year regardless if candidate passes probation(s).
OTE available (over 100K – Uncapped).

Realistic breakdown of (Minimum) earning potential per year
• 1st year – 25K+
• 2nd year – 30-40K+
• 3rd year – 50K+

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.45 am until 5.30pm

SALARY: 18K-20K (additional salary increase of 2K upon successful completion of probation) + Commission (uncapped) - OTE to 50K+
